Wedding Blog

Welcome to my Wedding Blog!

I consider it a privilege to be present on a couple’s wedding day. A photographer is not just an objective onlooker, despite what some modern photographers believe. Good wedding photography needs a rapport between the photographer and the couple. In the first few exchanges, we get to know each other, and hopefully we like each other, because photography isn’t just about business. Frequently we become friends, and some couples keep up correspondence for years after the event.

I love weddings and I can’t help being emotionally involved, and that means I photograph them better. I laugh when the couple are laughing, and I’ve been caught on shedding a tear at tender moments. And I like to see other people, guests at the wedding taking their own photographs too. That's because I love photography and because I believe that the guests have a right to be photographers too.

In this blog, I’ve listed some of the wonderful weddings I have been pleased to attend, and sometimes made just a few comments about them.
