Danielle & Paul McCaw
Now, even the minister at St Columba’s admits that it’s not the most scenic venue! But it does have a mountain behind it, and so all the shots of the groom’s party and the bridesmaids were taken out on the road, with the mountain as a back-drop.
Danielle was stunningly beautiful in her wedding dress - a perfect subject for the camera. A relaxed atmosphere prevailed all the way through the wedding, and with the minister allowing photography right throughout the service, we were able to capture those intimate moments when vows were taken and rings were exchanged.
After the ceremony we used the interior of the church to compensate for the lack of outdoor scenery, with natural light photos of the bride, and the bride and groom. The family shots were taken at the Park Avenue hotel, using the hotel garden.
Later we did ‘Wedding Formals’ at the hotel! Danielle and Paul’s friends were one of the liveliest groups of people I’ve had the pleasure of photographing at a wedding. Thank you to the two of you, and congratulations!
