You’re engaged! Congratulations on making the decision that will shape the rest of your life. Now begins the planning and the preparations for the biggest day of your lives. For the next few months you will be making some pretty important and costly decisions - and you want to get it right. Your wedding day will mark the beginning of your new life together and it needs to be perfect. It needs to be meaningful and it needs to be memorable. That’s why your choice of who records the event in images will be one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Get this right and you will add immeasurably to the satisfaction and the memories of the day.

But aren’t all photographers the same? We don’t think so, and here’s why…

• We only do one wedding per day! On a wedding day, we take no other photography appointments whatsoever – so you get our complete attention, and we’re never rushing off anywhere else.

• We know what we’re doing. Bob McEvoy, and any other photographer working for us is trained and qualified and fully insured – so you can have complete confidence in our ability and our dedication to our work.

• We take unlimited photographs. We’ll not take endless meaningless snaps, just so we can tell you we’ll do a certain number of photos, but we will never restrict you to 80 or 100 photos, from which you get to choose around 40. We’ll present you with any number of shots, depending on the circumstances of the wedding, usually between 200 and 500.

• Online web gallery. Your photos will be available to view and to proof on-line a few days after your wedding – so wherever you are in the world on your honeymoon, you can soon enjoy the memories of your wedding day.

• Digital editing. All your images are edited to bring out optimal quality, including some light airbrushing where necessary. So don’t worry if that irritating pimple won’t go away! You won’t see it in your album!

• Colour or Black and White or Sepia – the choice is yours!

• We use real photographic prints – finished by our high quality professional photo-lab – never ink-jet. So if at any time you have a problem with a photograph in your wedding album, just get in touch and we’ll sort it out for you free of charge. (Digital albums excluded.)

• Album design consultation. Some photographers will entrust your album design to a graphic artist or other ‘creative.’ We leave the final choice to you. We’ll help of course, by making suggested page layouts, but before we order the album we’ll let you decide whether you like the designs (many do!) and if you want to make any changes, that’s ok with us.

• You can make flexible payments. A booking fee is payable to secure your date with the balance due two weeks before your wedding day. If you are saving for your wedding as you go along, you may prefer to pay monthly by standing order. If you are paying a mortgage and struggling to come up with a gift list, we offer a gift voucher option where your guests can purchase a voucher that you use to pay towards your wedding photography. Some couples have found that by asking friends and family to purchase a photography voucher instead of the usual gifts, come the due date of their final payment their photography has already been paid for in vouchers.
